I asked for a nice recipe box or book.. If I get one I will definitely start with recipies from here!! I have seen so many good ones already.

I do! I print them out and but them in my recipe binder. I started a binder long ago with recipes I get from the web and from my cooking club (an email chain with my friends who all share recipes). The thing is huge now - I just don't have the free time to cook as much as I like.

I don't have a printer so I have to hand write them with my horrible chicken scratch.

The very best way for me to save recipes has been on the computer. My son found me a recipe program and all I do is copy and paste. I have all the categories imaginable and it's so easy to add my own recipes or find others I've saved. After 36 years of marriage you can't imagine how many papers and cards I've accumulated with recipes on them. This by far surpasses any other system I have found over the years.

I bought a nice recipe book. I just copy down recipes and put it in the book. Its very organized.

Yes! I printed out the empanada recipe! I have a huge binder with recipes pasted in it that I've collected over the years.
Some of them are from my dear grandma, God rest her soul

As soon as I get time I'll post some of them!

I do!! I have a shelf right here above my computer full of cookbooks. I have added a LIW Cookbook folder up there. I love cooking so I collect all the recipes everyone posts.

So far, I've been e-mailing the ones I want to keep to my home e-mail. Eventually, I'll probably print them or transfer them to my recipe program if I ever get around to installing it.

I got a binder a long long rime ago but my lazy as* has yet to put it together. That should be my next project. I do gather recipes from everywhere and put it in the binder - just nothing is organized - so its useless right now
I also have about a thousand from different recipes on the computer saved and not yet printed that have been emailed to from various sites

I am lazy, huh?! I should be ashamed of myself!

I plan to. I just haven't had a chance. I love this board! I'm so glad that LIW set it up!!! I NEEDED IT!!!!!

This post made me pull out the binder, all the recipes laying around- blow of the dust, start printing the ones from the computer- and finally start organizing!!! I pretty much have seperated everything into piles and now will have to finish it beofre I get bored again.
Its about time!
