I really thought that I could find white shoes in a store. I went with dyeables and i'm noticing that more and more girls are too. Was anyone else as surprised as I was??

Wait, are you asking if it's crazy that you bought dyeables for YOURSELF for the wedding? I was under the impression that was quite a normal thing to do! I mean, every bride I know bought dyeables for their wedding, so maybe that's why I think it's normal. And even if it WASN'T normal, who cares? THey're shoes you can wear!

no i dont think its crazy to buy dyeables for wedding shoes..I have seen alot of people buying them as a bride!!! They are always out there and you can find them just about anywhere!!!

I think I looked in every shoe place on the internet and every shoe store I could find. I bought dyables because they were closest to the style shoe/heel height I wanted.

No, I think that a 'dyable' shoe is basically just a white shoe in a satin kind of a fabric, which is what can be dyed. So... since most people want a satin-like white shoe for their wedding, it makes sense that they would buy dyeable shoes.
So... I don't think 'dyable' shoes are any special kind of shoe, they're just shoes that happen to be dyable, and to get the cleanest dye you would obviously want to start with a white base, so it all makes sense.
