Does anyone ever feel like the weekends aren't theirs anymore?
Original post by swags1016
OK I need to blow off some steam on this. In 3 months my life will no longer be about me- fine no problem. I can't wait to have my baby and experience life through my babies eyes but with that being said:
DH and I do not see each other during the week because we work opposite shifts. I have had several issues with this pregnancy and tire quite quickly. I am still working full time and doing other things. When I come home during the week I just VEG, I don't want to move. On the weekends I would like to work around the house, relax and maybe sleep in a little but EVERY freaking weekend we have something we HAVE to do.
Next weekend would be the first weekend that we don't have to do anything and guess what DH decides to do? Throw another party! This will be the third one that I have had to cook and prepare for in my pregnancy. We both love entertaining but I don't have the energy to cook for all these people. Oh and did I mention I am not invited to this party, this is a boys party- FOOTBALL
Now I am sitting here completely exhausted and I am waiting for his sister and BIL to pick us up to drive to his other sisters house in Jersey. While I love the sister in Jersey and rarely get to see her and her family I WANT TO SLEEP!
Tomorrow I have to run around with my mother all day and help her, then I have to do the food shopping, cleaning and my grading.
Ok sorry for being such a brat I just needed to say this to someone.
Off to get ready now

I'll tell him, no problem!! I think half the time the preggo hormones have not left my body...I'm like an out of control freight train!
These men need to be put in their place!
He should be rubbing your tootsies, feeding you bon-bons from the comfort of your chaise, etc.

Ok I only have to make Chilli he is taking care of everything else
But then, as I was breathing a sigh of relief I get a phone call from an old friend of the family that they want to come by at 3 to visit UGh there goes our plans for the day, and I just did the 50 yard dash in cleaning. Now I have to finish up, get showered and dressed. I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow it's so much easier having 150 kids trying to get my attention!
