Does anyone ever wear a tuxedo with a bow tie, but no vest or no cummerbund?

FH is wearing a bowtie (I'm insisting it's a real bowtie though ).

But we really didn't like the look of it with a vest (no offense to those who are/did do that), and we really don't like cummerbunds.

So I was wondering if he could just do a shirt, bowtie, and suspenders?

Would that look dumb? Did anyone do that?

I feel like it's all you see these days on the red carpet (no vest, no cummerbund)...

i think it wil look okay as long as FH is slim, if he is more. .. 'robust' i think it could have the potential to not be flattering. . .

its definitely a hot look tho!

i agree it would look good on a really slim guy - def looks HOT with the jacket on - not sure how it would look without the jacket though - did you find any pictures without the jacket? i agree that it looks good without the vest in that picture...i like it very classy
