Just what are they talking about at the nail salon in their language (vietnamese, chinese, japanese)? I just got a mani/pedi and i am just so curious, think its beyond rude since it was only me in the salon with the 2 people who were working there and they were taking their language and giggling - feel completely out of the loop...

I AGREE! i think its SOOOOo rude... like you KNOWWWWW theyre talking about you... you just wanna know what the heck theyre saying...good or bad.

I work with someone who is Korean and she said that they are DEFINITELY talking about us. She said they've even talked about her because they think she's so Americanized they can't understand her! LOL

Most of these girls are Korean & they hardly speak english. I have gone to a Korean place for over 10 yrs & at first i thought it was rude until i myself realized they just didnt have a good grasp of our language yet. Usually when they talk about a person they look at them & then say something. i picked that up quick too! lol

I so agree!! They have so much to talk about but I guess what else can they do when they are sitting and working all day.
But, yes I feel so out of the loop when they talk in their language. I feel as if they are talking about me or anyone else in the salon.

They probably talking about their husband or boyfriend..... The nail salon that I go to none of them speak English well but they are nice people....working hard.
