HELPFUL!!!! Does he treat you like a wedding planning secretary? Im getting fed up with doing most of it myself. I told him hes going to have to start taking charge of some stuff, then he tells me 'you been dreaming about this your whole life i thought you wanted to do it'
He had to laugh after cuz he knew it was nonsense. I wanted a destination wedding but he wants EVERYONE in his family to attend so that was out of the question. I have 4 months to go and its just stressin me alittle.

YES!!!!! I do everything and he does nothing. No I am wrong he complains about the money being spent for the wedding even though I am busting my butt to get the best prices!!!

aww im sorry im sure its not that he just doesnt want to help boys just tend to not be as intrested in all the little stuff..he will come around or threaten him ..thats what i do....hope u feel beter

Same here, hes like that costs what!!! im like how much do you think weddings cost...lol..i bargain hunt like crazy. men are just so unappreciative they show up on wedding day after we put all the hard work in. i could strangle him lol.

i dont really expect him to do anything except go to vendor meetings with me (and even then i usually narrow it down for him).... every now and then he has an opinion on something but i knew he really wouldnt be like 'OMG lets go research aboout everything possible for our wedding' like i am lolol hes a guy and i like picking out all the details myself

FH wasnt doing anything and I finally got frustrated and had a breakdown. He decided that he was going to take initiative and make our invitations!!! I am excited because he is very talented with Photoshop and stuff, but I am afraid that I am going to end up doing them.....
I do feel like all I do is wedding stuff and when i ask his opinion on things he says he doesnt care and now that it is getting closer he suddenly cares about these things and wants to change them.
Ahhhhhh so frustrating.....

Aww I'm sorry! No one knows better than me...FH has a completely passive/aggressive approach to wedding planning. He wants to have final say, but it's pulling teeth to get him to make the decision, agree that it's time to start working on the next vendor, etc. You could always try the passive aggressive routine right back at him...stroke his ego, tell him it's the 'manly' thing to do to pick the dj, hire the limos, book the HM...if he thinks he's less of a man for not doing these things, I'll bet he jumps!

It is the same over here. He actually said to me; when he heard how much the florist would cost; cant you do something different besides flowers...cant you hold something else? I was like ...what else could I hold!!!
