Does anyone from Westchester use LIW's?

My friend just got engaged and she is looking for a wedding site to help plan her wedding, but she lives in Westchester...She will most likely want to book vendors in her area, if possible. Will LIW's work or is there another site devoted to Westchester girls??

Any recommendations would be great.

I'm from Westchester, as are a few other girls, but I did get married in LI. I found this site more useful than anything else I came across. There is a Westchester/Hudson Valley section on the Knot I believe, but I didn't like it too much.

I am also a Westchester girl getting married on LI, so as for the vendors, I'm not sure this site would work. I would tell her to use it for advice, ideas, etc. Some of the vendors I've noticed the girls on this site use are internet sites, for favors, invites, etc. Also, some of the other vendors may go to Westchester. I know my band, for example, plays at a bar in the Bronx. I'm sure they'd play in Westchester, too.

The only vendor I booked from Westchester was my band and if she's looking for one then I highly recommend them- Moonlight Silhouettes from Stolen Moments in Dobbs Ferry.
