Does anyone/has anyone experienced pressure in there lower pelvic area?

I am now 20 weeks, going on 21 on Tuesday. In the last two days, I have had felt horrible pressure in my lower pelvic area, the type of pressure you experience 'down there' when you have your period. It's mostly when I am walking or standing for a long time. I just stood for 15 minutes to watch a parade and I felt like my lower body was going to fall off. NormaL? Hope so.

It could be the baby laying down in your pelvis. Does the pain radiate to your A$$.

Nope, just numbing my entire lower area.
I had a DR appt for tomorrow, which was good beacsue my legs are really swollen, but they cancelled while I was away and I need to call tomorrow to reschedule.

swollen legs from pregnancy? That could be a sign of pre eclampsia (sp?) hows your blood pressure doing?

It was low as of 10/12, but I flew last week and they have been swollen since.

ETS: They always swell when I fly...

Ahhh ok, well the swelling when you fly makes sense.

Its probably stretching pains. Glad your going to the doctor.

Ive been getting cramps not really pressure just period like cramps as well, I think its stretching, I always joke with dh that my uterus must be stretching for twins becuase it really hurts sometimes, then again Im a baby when it come to pain. Im 7 weeks preggo.

I have a lot of pressure going on along with a lot of pulling feelings in my lower pelvic area.the last week or two. Todya is really bad and on top of it I feel so sick (like my morning sickness is so back). I told DH I thought I was going a growth spurt and sure enough I gained some weight this week alone and my belly is starting to pop out to finally look like a pregnant belly. I am at 24 weeks now so we are pretty close. The days I am on my feet all day it is worse. Also around 17 weeks I had a lot of pressure and that was a big growth spurt week for me too. Hope we are both just experience growing pains!!

I've felt pain down there as well. I'm at 26 weeks and I'm hoping its just growing pains. I'm going to ask at my appt. this Thusday.

If we all feel it, maybe it's normal. I hope. My appt is now for 11/8, so I will see what she says. I hate going through the receptionist with questions, so if it gets worse, I will call. They are nice, but may think I am annoying....
