Does anyone have a glass top stove?

We do and we cracked it once already. I want to buy a new cookware set and I can never remember which kinds of cookware are ok and which aren't.

I think I remember that cast iron is a no-no.
Is stainless steel ok???
What about the others?

It wasn't a large crack, it was a bunch of small cracks in it after almost 2 years, I think 7 little cracks. DH noticed it one day when cleaning it and we had it replaced since the warrantee was nearly up.

The repair man said most people who get small cracks aren't cleaning it enough or aren't using the correct cookware. I don't remember what the correct cookware is though. I do remember that he said to beware of pots and pans with textured bottoms but that could be any type.
