Does anyone have a list of thigns to register for???

I know they have the list in magazines, but I need some real life advice. I went to Macy's to get a shower gift for a friend and I was so overwhelmed when I started thinking about what we want to register for. We dont have ANYTHING so we need EVERYTHING! Anyone have a list??

They have some really good articles and lists on The Knot, telling you which brands are good, what things do, etc. That's what I've been using. The stores' recommended registry lists are huge--quite self-servingly, of course

I remember when I was registering Fortunoffs and Bed Bath and Beyond gave us a list of things that most people will register for. Try looking on their websites to see if they have the lists!!

Macys gives you a check list to work off of so you don't forget anything. It comes in very handy!
