That's my e-ring, my band is in my avatar, a plain eternity band. It looks beautiful...only 12 days and then I can wear it!!!!!!!!
edited for spelling...it's been a while

Doe it fit well with your eng ring...or is there a space...most eternity bands don't seem to work well with my ring...can I ask where you bought yours and the specs...like width, shape of the diamonds, how many diamonds, etc.?
Good luck for the next 12 days!!!!

I got mine custom made at Elsa's in Farmingdale. THe X prongs made any other ring have a huge gap between the engagement band and the wedding ring.

dawnie,
Is your custom made band able to be worn alone...or does it only look good with e ring? Just curious since this is what I have been hearing! Is it a diamond band? Do you have any pics? TIA!

I have that one and I go the plain Lucinda band to match. It fits together perfectly. One day I hope to get the diamond band as an anniversary gift...but I have tried it on and that fits flush as well.
What problems are you having with them?

I am having the same problems. I find however in trying on thicker bands they tend to fit better with the Lucida, versus the thinner bands. But you will definitely have to look around.

Hey Stef,
The plain one definitely fits better...with the diamond one, I find there is a gap between the two, that I just don't like...I personally think it has to do with this: with lucida, the bigger the stone, the higher the setting; the higher the setting, the more problems you have with it sitting flush...

It kind of looks stupid if I wear it aone but I always wear them together.
I have round- baguette-round -baguette-round -baguette-round
If I was going to get a ring that I was going to wear alone I would have gotten some huge annivarsary band . (Hopefully I will get that too someday!)
I will see if I could find a picture. They make a wax mold so you can see if you like it.

My lucida is pretty thick tho...not sure how a thick wedding band would look...but hey at this point, anything is worth trying!

My band is actually pretty thick. Both rings are about 4 mm, and I personally really like the way that they look together.

I have the lucida setting, and I ran into similar problems... I think it really depends on your finger size... Originally, I wanted a band that is as thick as my Lucida setting (which, as we know, is pretty thick), but I have abnormally small fingers (size 4 1/2 ring), so when I tried those sized bands it looked too chunky and ridiculous on my finger (though I've seen it on others and it looks really nice!). I ended up getting something very similar to mnttnbchbride - I'm having a jeweler make the ring for me - it's a 2mm platinum band with 6 small diamonds burnished around. I love it!!!
