we are probably going to go purchase a microfiber sectional couch from Jennifer Convertibles tonight.
I was wondering if anyone has one and if they like it or not. Does it breath???? I am afraid I am going to sweat in it, when I sit.
We have two cats and I am afraid they are going to scratch the crap out of it. It doesn't matter if we get cotton, microfiber or leather, they will ruin all of them.h

danielle and I got our microfiber couches from Seamans and we love them. I dont sweat in them, and they are very comfortable. Scott

We have a microfiber couch from jennifers.Love it. It breaths fine. We have 2 cats and it is actually easier to clean the microfiber than other fabrics. The hair doesn't get ground in, it lays on top.

I vacumn and use the rollie lint brushes with the tear off sheats (get them at target..they are like 4x's as big as ones from CVS). My kitties do not have front claws. So they just paw the couch. But I know you can buy stuff from the pet store to prevent them from scratching furniture.

Unfortunately I bought that NO SCRATCH spray for our old couch, and of course it didn't work. But I saved it, I will try it on the new one too.

I have two dogs and a microfiber couch. It is by far the BEST couch to get if you have pets and/or kids. My dogs chewed up all of my other couches, and filled them with dirt, and this one looks brand new! I highly recommend it!

I love ours!! Unfortunately we did not pick the best color (cream)! So far it has been pretty easy to clean though.

We got a sectional! It is celery (light green)
I am not crazy about the color, but it was that or a really pale cream, which I know would show all the dirt!!!!

I have a beautiful burgundy microfiber set that I got from 110 Home Furnishings. It's by Natuzzi -- they have beautiful furniture custom made to order from Italy. Sounds expensive, but its actually affordable. We love it!
ETA: We have birds, and we find using the upholstery attachment of our SHark handvac works great for cleaning up lint and smoothing the fabric.

We have microfiver also, and they are 'scratch resistent'... our cats don't claw at them at all... they can't get their claws into them, like our other coutch... that's what microfiber is good for cats! that's why we got them... and they're soooooooo comfy!
