Does anyone have a suggestion for a good place....
to have a surprise 30th Bday Party for my DH? It's not till June, but want to get a leg up and start preparing.I'm looking for a good space to rent and bring in an outside caterer, but all suggestions are welcome......probalby have about 75 people, want it to be more of a cocktail party, not a sit-down. I'm having a brain block of whats out there, besides big halls!!

maybe try a local VFW hall or Knights of Columbus - I know there is a nice Knights of Columbus in Oceanside (I think it's off of Atlantic Ave)
