I tried the stuff at home depot and it seemed to take longer, then my mother said white vineager and hot water and that seems to work but i was wondering if anyone tried anything else.

Every room in my house had wall paper on it. Believe it or not warm water and Downey works great!
Just mix them both together in a spray bottle.

I saw on a show once too, water and fabir softener (Downy), peeled right off. They first did that roller thing over it (score? I think) then wipen on with sponges the water and softener mix and it peeled right off, it was amazing.

Hire someone
We had it in every room (some even on the ceiling!!!) We had the guys who painted take it down. Worth every penny.
But I do hear the fabric softner works great.
Good luck!

Ugh, I feel sorry for you because I don't think there is an easy way. I thought renting a steamer helps but I agree with Jen, I'd hire someone if wallpaper was everywhere....

Re: Does anyone have any tricks to remove wall paper
We just did this in out kitchen & bathroom ... we rented a steamer from Home Depot ($21/day). We 'scored' the paper, put 'Diff' on with a roller, and used the steamer with a scrapper to peel it off. It worked but next time, I'd hire someone and save myself the aggrevation.
We ended up having to hire someone to skimcoat the walls anyway because they were destroyed underneath. If we would have known that we would have just hired the guy to skim coat over the wallpaper and again, save us the aggrevation!

Thanks for all your suggestions, I will try the Downy and Hot water. My wrist is killing me from all the scrapping and I still have a bed room that has lovely blue plaid wallpaper, yes blue plaid.

What is scoring? Is that a tool?
So can anyone recommend someone to remove wallpaper ? How much does that cost?
(Adrianna I have pink flowers in my dining room I understand).

Re: Does anyone have any tricks to remove wall paper
There is a little tool and you run it over the wallpaper it is puncutures little wholes in the paper so when you wet it suppose to come down easier. They have it in the wallpaper department in Home Depot
