I bought a b-day cake for FH last week and it had buttercream, and he said he didn't like the buttercream at all. I do admit it was slightly greasy, and since I got the cake from the bakery our hall uses, it's a safe bet the wedding cake would be similar.
Since fondant is way too expensive, our other options are ganache and whipped cream. Does anyone have pics of this?? Thanks!!
It's beautiful!! I guess someone lied to me when they said you can't put flowers on a whipped cream cake.

I had a whipped cream cake and I had the hall make sure that when it was frosted it was really smooth to have the look of fondant as fondant tastes nasty and i had flowers on the top, I will have to post some pics later
