I just got my husband's in the mail today from ebay with a game for $250 dollars (plus $28 shipping from Canada) that I ordered on Sunday.

i saw them at toys r us in carle place last week we were on the waitlist so we got it the night it came out. it came w/ a bundle - spider-man 2 movie, a game and some other stuff not sure what he paid b/c i wasn't there

The only thing that bothers me about this system, is the fact that you have to buy the games all over again, even if you have them for your regular PS2. They couldn't make it so the regular system games were compatible with it?

Well the regular PS2 games are really big, they're Cd/CD size. Does the PSP accomodate such large discs? It would great if they came out with a gamecube portable, and that's more doable b/c the discs are realy small
ETA: I don't know the deal on PSP since I haven't done any research, but usually handheld systes don't have the power to accomodate the games from the home systems

My DH went out and bought it behind my back. He had been on a waiting list for it and paid around 200...or that's what he told me it cost...he's probably lying. I believe he got it at EB Game Stop.

yeah that's about right b/c we got it at EB at the mall the cd's are teeny and the graphics are amazingly real...the games are a bit diff. than the playstation games...
whatever he wants b/c he is paying for it...

Well it's official, that's what he's getting! He already called the stores to locate one. I have to go to Target in Commack after work!
so much for a surprise! I can never surprise that darn man! And it's a month early too! He's gunna have to wait for it!
