Does Anyone Have Tiffany & Co. Jewelery???

You know, those infamous little blue boxed jewelry???

I want to buy something off ebay,

How do you know if its authentic??????

This is what it states:::

Elsa Peretti® 5 Open Heart bracelet. Sterling silver, 7.25' long. Original designs copyrighted by Elsa Peretti.

Ok on the clasp does it say Tiffany 925???

That is the indicator.

it would be stamped tiffany and co inside- hard to tell online

be careful

if it sounds to good to be true- it is

if it's not that much less then the real price- buy it at the store

do you have a photo of it? Most Tiffany stuff has their name engraved on it somewhere...

I think the only way to REALLY know is to buy it and then take it to the Tiffany store and they will tell you if it's a fake.

If you want a real Tiffany, I would only buy from a Tiffany store... IMO.

I actually did but the Diagnol ring on EBay and I know its authentic...BUT I did get 2 things that were DEFINETELY NOT and quickly sent them back and let the seller know that it wasn't real

I agree completely! But, if you are interested... It should have the Tiffany & Co. 925 stamp on it. If you really want it, have the seller email you a picture of the stamp. But I still stand by the notion of 'if you want jewelry from Tiffany buy it from Tiffany'

It should have Tiffany & Co. 925 stamped into the curve of the heart but even the copies come with it these days. If you really want to be safe just go to the store directly. Or check the wording for the item. Nine times out of ten if it says 'Tiffany style' then it's not the real deal.

Thanks ladies!!! I though it was too good to be true...

I was just looking last night and came across someone in the UK selling them, and I never had anything from Tiffany's to compare it to...

Thanks for all your help... I think i'll have more fun in the store anyway!!!

If that is the case then definitely go to the store. I work for a UK based company and many of my counterparts overseas love to come to NY to shop in Chinatown and then sell online. Just not worth the risk, time and money.

It is hardly the same thing but...

... when I went to buy microfiber bags for my BMs in Chinatown, I wanted plain black bags with no fake tags on it. The salesperson told me that all she does is slap on a name tag or rivet something on to a bag and voila PRADA. If they have the technology to do that, then they have the technology to make any special engraving stamp to make something appear authentic.

I agree with other posters, the only way to be sure is to buy from the store itself.

Fake - the pouch writing is different and I would NEVER buy outside the United States either.

I know the Elsa Peretti line is stamped with her signature as well as Tiffanys

Oh this is definitely a fake! I have the same charm and I can tell you exactly what it says on it when I get home...but I know for sure it doesnt say TIFFANY in all caps in the back.
