The overall shape of the bag is wrong as well. Go to the store. Even if it were real, by the time you paid overseas shipping costs you would be at the same price or higher.

I have a lot of Tiffany stuff and have also looked at Ebay for some hard-to-find items. It's not easy to tell online if it's authentic or not. I would say before you buy something, check out the seller's feedback. If there have been issues, it will show up there. Also, make sure they have a good return policy. To avoid the headaches, go to Tiffany & Co. store itself. You'll love it!
Yes, I have never even seen that in the catalog. I don't think the neckalaces come in the drawstring pouch, I thing they have the snap on them. Look at the seller's feedback, what does it say? Also if they are selling hundreds and hundreds of Tiffany items, then its fake. How can these people get so many 'Authentic' items unless they got it off the back of a truck somwehere?

The necklaces can come in the drawstring pouches...the ones I have from Tiffany have all come in them
Can you look at it for me though... I'm still curious...
its absolutely not real
the writing on the thing is too big on normal tiffany jewelry, a pic would never captire the trademark on it

I guess they come in both. I got the letter necklace and it came in the snap pouch. So did a ring I got from them. A bracelet came in the drawstring. Oh also, the drawstring should be the same tiffany blue.

I just went to my closet and took out the pouch from the necklace FH bought me (pic of pouch below) at the Tiffany store in Manhasset. I dont know if all of the pouches have snaps but mine did.

I have a necklace from Tiffany, and I got it at the Tiffany store in Chevy Chase MD. Mine came in a drawstring pouch. My necklace isn't on the site anymore, but it was from the Etoile collection, and it was a pendant on a wire silver chain.

My pouch is suede. Not the faux stuff. I think they package all of the silver in suede.

Their pouches are straight cut at the bottom, and the strings are 'ropey' looking not 'shoe stringy' looking.
ditto on that. i have both the pouches that are the snap ones and the drawstring ones, but they are all rectangular on the bottom, not round.
playing devil's advocate here, is it possible that the pouches in the uk are different?
