I work for a non-profit org and to make a long story short I'm trying to get gift certificates or small prizes to offer as incentives and raffle prizes for our students. I want to know if any of you know the best wya to go about doing this, if you have any sample letters and if you know any companies who would be receptive.
Thanks!

Re: Does anyone here know anything about fundraising?
Always try and go with bigger chains like Target, Walmart, McDonalds. Ask to speak with a manager, explain the situation, and they usually know how to direct you from there.

You could also contact the fulfillment house that your Annual Giving/Annual Fund/Membership dept. works with and have them create personalized school-themed freemium/premiums for the students. (like mugs, t-shirts, etc.) You can get them in bulk for very cheap rates.

Go to major corporation's websites...many times they have a section for fundraising or community reach out programs.
Find out the email address or phone number for the director of Community Affiars and get an hold of them.
