Does anyone here (or their DH) have XBox Live?

My hubby's birthday is coming up, and I was thinking about getting him XBox Live. (We already have the XBox) I was curious if anyone here has used it, and if its fun for big kids like us -- or if you really have to actually be 13 to enjoy...

XBox Live lets you play against other people over a cable internet connection...

You would need both -- XBox Live ($50) is an addition to the XBox.

I just got Xbox and the 'Live' set last weekend for my FH for his Birthday, he loves it but I dont see him much these days for that reason

LOL... i love XBox... FH use to play hockey games on computer.. .we got Xbox and now when i want to go on the boards here he just goes and plays some games!

Patrick has XBox live. My friends and I all bought it for our DH's for Christmas. BIG MISTAKE!

It's not every minute of the day, but often enough they make a 'date' to meet up online, and then they play round robin tournaments for HOURS.

So, the girls and I (depending on the time) either have a conference call and talk about how much we HATE XBox Live, or go shopping.

JennRenee I can totally sympathize. FH doesn't have XBox Live, but he does play games online and he plays them for HOURS. The other night he played this game from 9 pm until 2 am!!! He also plays in weekly tournaments. It really annoys me. He doesn't even know these people but he'll spend more time with them than ME sometimes! I'm ready to chuck his computer out the window
