larkfield manor does an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour but theyre not near the water
Yea have been to many halls already and haven't found anything I like better than Villa Lombardis !! I just always wanted an outdoor cocktail hr and ceremony so we may just do it there. See if they will open up the doors for me so people can go outside. They do have tables set up outside I don't see why they can't. As far as the ceremony- i know November can be either a little cool or if we get lucky it will be warmer ... It will be about 15 min to get married outside so i think it will be ok to deal with for a little while. I just haven't seen any place that looks that breathtaking when you pull up and is that clean and meticulous. I see pics online of places and they just can't compare to me so i will see if I can make it work. I would hate to have to start all over.
Our only other option would have been Lombardis on the Sound but our date is already taken and only the day time is available and I don't want a day wedding so thats out..
Def Def Def look at the Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon! There's an outdoor patio for cocktail hour and a wraparound porch facing the water! It's gorgeous.
I actually went there with my mom and they quoted us alot of money for 11/11 and it will not work for our budget. They said since its such a popular date that they treat it as if it were a sat night, I love the upstairs room so pretty but my FH had other parties there so we decided against it.
De Seversky has a cocktail hour that can be in various rooms, their glass house and on their patio. Their reception room also has doors that open right to the outside. They have lush greens and beautiful flowers and paths! Its why I fell in LOVE with it!

westbury manor (the grounds are gorgeous), majestic gardens (my #1), lands end, most of the lessings locations (I think).
Have been to them all and some are out of our budget or just weren't what we were looking for but thank you!!
you know I'm gonna chime in with land's end. The doors are out to the deck and the patio. The actual ballroom doesnt open up.
Yea we went there already def out of our budget unfortanetely bc I liked it. My FH didn't love it as much.
Three Village Inn has space for an outside cocktail hour. I'm getting married in October and probably not having the cocktail hour itself outside, but they will have the area open for guests.
Sunset Harbor in Patchogue...not sure if it has outdoor area for CH but I've heard it is beautiful and right on the water (docs-makes for nice pics)
