I can tell you who not to use I had a bad experience with United - but it was united AND mayflower - see apparentely after we booked we found out that they share bookings so you might book with united and a mayflower truck and movers might show up and vise versa - something to keep in mind -

We had a great experience with Allied. They were very meticulous with inventorying (not sure if that's a word) our stuff before and after the move. The van broke down along the way, but they went above and beyond to make it to our new house at the scheduled time.
