Does anyone know about pre-paid wireless plans (for a gift) or Dish Network?
Just some questions:
I was thinking of getting my mother a pre-paid wireless phone for Christmas. She doesn't have a cell phone and sometimes I worry about her. I would feel better if she had one. When my father was alive they had a cell phone but never used it. That is why I'm thinking of getting her a pre-paid just for emergencies. She could always upgrade to a regular plan if she finds herself using the phone more.
Does anyone have any experience with the prepaid plans? We may just activate her old AT&T phone or would could get her a new one. I'm looking for any info. on cost and service. We went down to the store once a little while ago but I like to get others' experiences.
Also, MIL is thinking of switching to Dish Network from Cable. Anyone have this? She wants to know how people on LI like it. She only knows people in other states with it.
