Does anyone know anything about Villa Victor?????

My cousin just got engaged and they looked at Villa Victor in Syosset. They said that they`ve just done renovations and the place is beautiful, But they don`t know how the food or service is. I figured I would ask my fellow Expets on this site, and see what you all have to say. I appreciate any information, and thanks in advance!!

Does anyone know anything about Villa Victor?????

They just remodeled the place. It looks great from the outside and I think they cleaned out the little pond they have with the fountain. When I drove by the other day, it didn't look as green. When I was looking for reception places a year ago for our wedding this July, we went there. The price at the time was about $88 for a Friday night and they said that after the remodel the prices would increase dramatically.(We could get the lower price because at the time they didn't have any pictures of what the remodel would look like)

My fiancee and I are in the same boat. We absolutely loved the place but do not know anything about the food or service. We tried booking a tasting but were told that they were booked until early June. I think that we are going to be booking a date with them this Sunday. WE were told that the price per head would be up to $125 after the renovations were completed. I have had a couple of people that went there for different occassions and the food was good. The same chef has been there for 20 years so he can't be bad and if the price will be that high then I can't see the food being bad. I will get back to you after our tasting on June 10th.
