Does anyone know of...

any other honeymoon places where you can swim from your room/hut??

So far I know of..

El Dorado Royal in Mexico
and of course Tahiti/Bora Bora/Moorea...etc

Anything that lets you step out onto water....I know about the overwater bungalow in the South Pacific and the Mexico resort has swim up casitas. We're really looking for either.

We had a private villa with its own pool in Mauritius. I'm not sure if that helps.

We also stayed at The Caves in Jamaica for a non-HM trip. The villas are built directly by the water on top of a cave. Its very cool.

Sandals St Lucia---the Regency I believe (or the Grande, cant really remember) have rooms leading right to the pool

Yup, the Grande St. Lucian (Sandals) has private plunge pools and so does the new Whitehouse in Jamaica (Sandals). Secrets Excellence Riviera Cancun has something similar, but their beach isn't the best.
Also check out Elite Island Resorts they definitely have them, are AI, adults only and SUPER gorgeous.

we stayed in overwater bungalows in tahiti, moorea and bora bora. you can climb down the steps from your deck off your room into the water. it's amazing.

Jaclyn if you're still looking, I would email Hayley, the TA I booked my HM with and tell her exactly what you're looking for and your budget. She helped me tremendously and I wouldn't recommend her otherwise. Her site is Beach Bum Vacation (I may have given it to you already, sorry if I did!).
