Does anyone know of a

A program that will alphabetize my guest list. My hall asked for this and I can't imagine having to do all the work on my own

On Excel, if you write it out by last name, first name and then highlight all of the info, click on Data . . . Sort. . . and if names are in Column A, say that you want to sort by Column A, they will be sorted in alphabetical order.

i'm just curious, because I'm not at this point yet.....why does the hall need a list of your guests ...is it because they are doing the place cards?

They need the list 'in case' a guest can not find their place card. They can go to someone that has a copy of the list and they will know what table they are seated at. Makes sense but I would never have thought of it. I am also glad that I am doing it because it will be all set to go when I send my placecards to Inkspun.
