does anyone know of a gym that does signle month membership?

I want to join a gym but don't want to get stuck with an 85 year membership since my lazy butt will probably stop going in 4 months. But I also need to drop weight and need the help of a gym.

Are there any gyms that offer a membership on a month to month basis?

LA Fitness does, I go to the one in New Hyde Park, its like $50 a month and the place is huge

<3 Planet Fitness, and they are only 10 bucks a month - but you have to pay a registration fee of like $60 bucks if want it month to month. Or you can pay no downpayment and do a one year committment at $20 a month (for $20 you get unlimited guest priviledges - I bring a friend everyday!)

I pay 10 dollars a month here too...and I only had to pay a one time startup fee of 20 dollars...

You're lucky, they must have raised it after you joined!!! Still not a bad deal though. . . .
