Does anyone know of a hotel in Suffolk close to the LIE

That has really good discount rates for a large number of guest for a wedding party. I have a lot of people coming from out of town. My Uncle, my dad, my cousins, my grandfather, my MOH, etc... I can't afford to pay for their rooms, but I want to at least give them the best rate I can. Any suggestions?

the Hilton, Extended Stay, and The Marriott, are all off of the LIE exit 49s Melville, off of Broadhollow road, on Spagnoli road.

The wedding is going to be in Huntington, but I live in Coram. So either will be fine. I'll get ready in my MOH room, so either one is fine.

These are for the Hauppauge area.

Holiday Inn Express right on the LIE south service road if you get off at Exit 55. (631)348-1400

Hampton Inn on Vets Highway (454) when you get off the LIE at Exit 58. (631)234-0400

Sheraton Hotel on Motor Parkway if you get off the LIE at Exit 53. (631)231-1100

Howard Johnson on Moreland Road (cross over Motor Pkwy) if you get off the LIE at Exit 53. (631)864-8820

Don't know if they have discounted group rates, but they shouldn't be too expensive!! HTH!!!

The Melville Mariott is right off the LIE. We're probably going to block rooms there, not sure how much the group rate is though.

I work at the Hilton Long Island which is 2 minutes from the LIE. We are in Melville and offer shuttleservice at a cost to your reception hall. FM if you want more information

I blocked the Courtyard Marriott for my OOT and I didn't have to leave a deposit! And for my honeymoon suite I just had to leave a credit card #, no deposit!

I am blocking rooms at the Hyatt in Hauppauge, which is on Motor parkway. Real close to the LIE.
Also the Hampton INN, I think in Islandia/Hauppauge area.

All of our guests are coming from out of town, since we are new to Long Island. We booked the Hampton Inn and the Radisson, both at exit 63. You can see them from the LIE.

However, if you're closer to Huntington, I'd book closer to there. One major complaint from guests is not having a hotel close to a reception hall. Unless you are shuttling them yourself, think about drinking and driving.
