You are looking for a co-op with the sole intention of subletting it out right when you buy?
Not many co-ops let you do this. Not sure about condos.
Best thing to do would be to go on Newsday.com and go into their classifieds and real estate sales... and looking through their listings. You will find co-op sales listings. Just call them and ask this question.
My co-op requires that you live there for three years before they allow a sublet.

Yes - we are looking for investment properties. I know not many co-ops let you do this - so that is why I am asking if anyone knows of any
(PS...I have an apt in WP as well - but I lived there for three years now rent it out)

in great neck you cna't rent any apt. anymore
at least the buildings that are managed by the co. that manages ours...they want owners to live there

My co-op lets you rent it out - not sure of the details tho... but 2 of my neighbors both rent and they are awesome people Gonna miss them when we finally sell our co-op
