how fast you can get a passport??

Mine appears to be missing. I have just torn my house apart and I can't find it!!

I figure I don't need it for Puerto Rico - but I bet I need it for the Dominican Republic!!
Any info??? Where do I go and what do I have to bring to show that I need it NOW!

Can you use just your birth certificate?

You can make an appointment and go to Manhattan or Stanford and get it in a day. IT will cost you around $120-$160. YOU NEED TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. THEY WON'T SEE YOU WITH OUT IT

You also need to bring all travel stuff like tickets to prove you need to travel in a couple of weeks.

You can use your birth certificate and a drivers licsence for DR. I went last year and I used my expired passport..but my cousins used birth certificates.

i just did this. you need to show proof of travel within 2 wks and need an appt BUT i was in and out in 10 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the afternoon when i went back to pick it up. easy as can be!

I remembered the last time I used it was to take my daughter to her father's 2nd wedding a year ago, so I dug out the suitcases and there it was.
