Does anyone live in Morris County NJ

Hello:

My Fh and I fell in love with a new house in Budd Lake, NJ ... Morris County.
I just want to ask how is the school system there? And how is the commute if you work in Manhattan?

The house will be built late this year and will prolly be finished by September next year.
Thanks.

Re: Does anyone live in Morris County NJ

that's so nice!! NJ Transit has a train going to Penn Station in Manhattan from Morris Cty. Although I am not sure if it stops in Budd Lake...you would have to check on njtransit.com. It would probably be a 1 hr (minimum) commute.

Budd Lake is actually a part of Mount Olive. The schools there are good...not spectacular, but they are very good. I'm a realtor in NJ...let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Does anyone live in Morris County NJ

we moved to morristown about a year and a half ago. i'm a teacher in a nearby town but i'm not familiar with the mt. olive schools. i believe the commute is over one hour into penn from that area. welcome to jersey! we love it here! enjoy your new beautiful home!
