Does anyone Rollerblade/Rollerskate

I live in Queens, and I am looking for a place to go indoor or outdoor with smooth pavements. I called Hotskates, in lynbrook, but they only cater to kids. So, I am just looking

If anyone knows any safe locations. DH is totally not interested in coming with me. Thanks

I used to rollerblade along the Cross Island Parkway in Bayside...they have a trail for bikes/joggers & rollerbladers--I believe it is 3 miles one way & it is right along the water by the Throgs Neck Bridge.

not sure if it's too far for you, but there is a path that runs along the wantagh parkway that goes from cedar creek park all the way down to jones beach. there are always tons of people rollerblading there. it's nice and smooth. if you take the wantagh parkway to merrick rd east, cedar creek park is about 1/2 a mile down on the right side. you can park there and get onto the path from there.
