Oh my god, I totally feel the same way as Preshy! Before I was engaged, I would always freak out everytime he did something romantic, because I thought 'Ohmygod, this is it - he's going to propose.' I still get like that sometimes - my heart races and I get the chills thinking he's going to propose. Um, wait, he did already.

We were engaged for seven months before we began to talk seriously about the wedding or make any wedding plans at all, so we were able to enjoy our engagement. Our engagement became an event of sorts, rather than just the waiting period before the wedding.

Oh, yea. I think about that day a lot. And I think, 'wow, I am never going to have that moment again.'

I can't wait to be married but sometimes I wish we could go back to that day too. It was just so magical!!!

Plus when we thought about the wedding it was 'anything goes' and we could do whatever our hearts desired; didn't think about $$ yet. And we had all the time in the world!!! So much less stress!!!!

I agree! I just wish I could go back and really listen, instead of screaming 'Oh my God!' the whole time! It was soooo fun!

My FH actually asked me last night if he could propose again. He's mad that I didn't cry!!! I told him I was too shocked and didn't believe it was happening. Did anyone else not cry?

I'm so glad I'm not the only who can't remember what FH had said or all the little details!

I just miss the rush I felt afterwards. Every once in awhile it hits me again when I realize that: , omg, we're getting married!

i don't wanna go back over a year ago. besides, it wasn't anything special. he did it in livingroom of his parents parents. not that romantic and he didn't get down on one knee and actuall ask. he just put the ring on. so no, i just wanna be married already.

since you asked- it's a very sad story

My Mom was very sick, and jake and I were planning to get engaged with in the next few months- but when I told him that it didn't look like my Mom was going to make it thru the day- he went and got my ring and came to my house ( i was home taking a break from the hospital) and asked me to marry him

then we raced off to the hospital- we made it with 2 hours to spare

I wish it was done under happy circumstances-but that fact that we did this made me realize that he is truly the one for me-

It was very good for my Family to have something positive to focus on after such a horrible ordeal- it helped me get thru the worst year of my life

She died knowing that we were engaged- something she really wanted
