I just had all 4 yanked last month.

Initially my dentist told me I didn't need to have them extracted, but then they started to break through and he was worried about infection, so he advised me to have at least the one pulled or all 4 if possible. (It was also advised that I do it before getting pregnant.)

I went for my consultation with the oral surgeon and he suggested I have all 4 extracted. (I'd much rather get them all done and over with anyway.)

The oral surgeon came highly recommended to me from my work, which is nursing facility. He works on our head injury patients and many of the nurses had taken their kids to him and loved him.

I always have complications with oral surgery (bleeding & healing disorder). All my baby teeth had to be extracted and every single one gave me problems, from abcess/cellulitis to uncontrollable bleeding. With the surgeon I went to, I only ended up with a minor problem with one. (I developed a hematoma from my bleeding disorder.) It's been 3 weeks and I'm good as new.

If anyone needs an oral surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Richard Sand in Huntington.

My wisdom teeth are coming in on angles and sometimes cause me a lot of pain. I'm most likely going to have to have them removed.

That is exactly why I had mine out. They were growing in impacted. If you let them grow in, it can throw the rest of your teeth out of alignment.
