Does anyone suffer from...??

I was wondering if anyone suffers from hypo or hyper thyroidism? What were your symptoms? The blood test that you took, did you have to 'fast' for it? TIA

I have a very low-grade hypothyroidism. Not even enough to treat with meds, but I did regulate my diet.

My Symptoms were:
bags under my eyes
noted weight gain (quick too)
numbness in my extremities
general fatigue
and I began reacting badly to sugars and other stimulants, so I cut them out on my own.

I also had an enlarged thyroid that actually shrunk on its own!

I did have to fast for 12 hours before the blood test......only water the whole night before

I also had some dizziness & mild loss of short-term memory

I have hypothyroidism

No you do not have to fast for the blood test

My symptoms:

Extreme fatigue (I mean I could sleep 10 hours and still fall asleep sitting up)
Weight gain that you cannot stop or control
Loss of appetite
Depression
Loss of sex drive, because I was too tired

But the fatigue and the weight gain were the two big ones for me.

Oh and the skin on the palm of your hands can yellow, almost like jaundice.
