Does anyone think it's crazy...

to play hooky today, and get some wedding stuff done???? I feel like it's wrong, but at the same time...I don't really care!

I was thinking about doing this next week, but I just can't afford to take a day

My shower is out here in NJ next Saturday and we ordered a new couch and it will be here Thursday, I want to spruce the place up before family and friends might stop in.

I don't think its crazy but if I ever did that at my job I'd get BLASTED on Tuesday. If people call in 'sick' on Mondays or Friday's you're questioned.

Do it! It's labor day weekend, is anything really getting done today anyhow? If you work in an office you are probably getting out early anyhow, right?

NO I think I did it about 5 times before my wedding day.. You know you get a headache.. soar throat, tummy problems! Its all ok!

I took today off for the same purpose! I just don't have enough time between now and the wedding to get it all done.

If I had the vacation time, I would have taken a week off this month to do nothing but finalizing all the small wedding details.

So...no...I don't think you are crazy at all!!!

I dont know if you work in the city or not, but literally my train in was not as crowded as usual. I didn't bump into a single person in Penn, and my subway was as crowded as it would be at 11am on a saturday....
