Does anyone use or have used mineral makeup?

I had posted this on BHB but didn't get that much feedback.

But, what I did get was all positive.

Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I have used it and liked it. It gives a very light and natural coverage. I did have difficulty finding the perfect shade for my skin.

It is AMAZING for sensitive skin. We used in on many brides at Ulta (when I worked there)

I absolutely LOOOOOVE my bare minerals. And yes, it was used on my wedding day as well.

I've used Bare Minerals and loved it. Very good for sensitive skin and even acne skin. The application of it takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it.

Yes I use and love my mineral makeup. I have been using Bare Escentuals for 3 years. My makeup artist for the wedding, Jillian also uses mineral makeup. It stayed perfect all day.

There's also a Bare Escentuals (their makeup line is Bare Minerals) in Roosevelt Field mall on the second level near Macy's.

Where's the best place to get it?

I got my BE at Ulta. they have consultants there who were great. they helped me pick out colors. I like that store.

I don't wear BE everyday. It takes time to put it on and I'm lazy

but when I do take the time, I LOVE this makeup! by far the best stuff I have ever used!

I got my make up done for my friend's wedding (it wasn't mineral make-up) and after I took it off for days later my face was irritated and blotchy.

I'm hoping mineral make-up doesn't do this.

DEFINITELY!!!!! I never knew this until my MU trial w/Jillian, but I apparently have rosecea on my cheeks. it covers everything!

what I love most about it is the flawless finish that you get from using it. it's amazing!

i honestly didnt love the bare essentials

it was OK but i prefer liquid

i felt like it never matched my skin and made me look more made up...

I didn't like it. It covers really well, but it's too shiny and I'm already oily. Maybe I just got the wrong color though.

I didn't love it either, I don't think it covers everything and I have pretty good skin except for the occasional breakout. I do still use it sometimes only b/c I have it, but I prefer my Mary Kay foundation, it covers everything and look very natural and is lightweight
