Does anyone want to trade?

I just finished The Secret Lives of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd (paperback), and really liked it.

I don't know anyone that likes the same kind of books as me, and it's such a waste sitting at my house. I try the library but I'm not patient enough.
I generally like descriptive fiction. I recently read The Poisonwood Bible, White Oleander, Memoir of a Geisha......to give you an idea of the kind of books I read.

Would anyone like to trade for something?

No, nothing in particular, but something along the same lines as the few I listed.

I just thought people must have books lying around collecting dust like I do....???

I really liked Poisonwood Bible. Completely different story line/setting than anything I've read.

I'm reading 'the five people you meet in heaven' by Mitch Albom. It's too soon to say, but it's a short read. I should finish over the weekend.

We have the same taste in books!!! I have a ton of books but they are all packed at the moment as we will be moving in January so I packed the things I wasn't using. I will be happy to swap books early next year with you. I may still have a few out so I will look and get back to you.

Hi Jen,

I just replied to your 'five people you meet in heaven' thread before seeing this.

I would love to trade some books. I have a hard time buying books blindly. I like to read books that I know someone else liked.

I used to send my books to my parents, until we figured out they didn't like any of the same books, so I don't have many at my house left. I'm not sure if they hung on to them or gave them away. I will check for some while I'm there for Thanksgiving.

I'll let you know what I find.
