Does anyone work for Verizon??

I am sooo aggrevated and need to make a complaint!

I've really never had a problem with them...until NOW

I had a past due bill (which I didn't even KNOW about because after you don't pay it, they send it to collections and it doesn't appear on your bill anymore!) so my phone svc was turned off on Friday. I called them Saturday morning, to pay the bill, and they don't take payments on weekends ( ) so they say to call back Monday and someone would be able to help me even though it's a holiday. I call back Monday, and guess waht! They're closed! ( ) I call back yesterday morning at 9am and pay the bill over the phone, change my service a bit, and go through the automated third party verification thing...was told my phone would be on within a few hours. 6:30 comes (and I know they close at 7) so I call and check the status...the woman tells me it'll be on within the next 1/2 hr. At 6:55, I call back ( ) and am told that the tird party verification never went through, so I have to do it again...this time with a 'live' person, and my phone will be turned on some time throughout the night.
I wake up this morning, and GUESS WHAT? NO PHONE!!! ( ) I call again, this time very pi$$ed off, and gurss what they tell me...the third party verifiaction did not go through! SOOOO, I had to do it for the THIRD time! ( ) and the phone would be turned back on by 10 (because I am working from home today...this is a BIIIIG problem!) I called at 9, they said it would be back on by 12!!!! I called back to speak with a supervisor, who told me they are working on it RIGHT NOW, and it would be on by 10...

GUESS WHAT??? IT'S 10...and NO PHONE
I'm about to make what feels like my 20th call

28 minutes later...and I'm STILL on the phone with them

what a hassel.

Our line went out once.. for no apparent reason.. my FH's elderly non-english speaking grandmother asked us to get a hold of someone.. this was like a Friday.

They said they might find time for it the FOLLOWING Thursday!! I totally freaked out.. 6 days!!????

His grandmother doesn't know how to use a cell phone! Thursday came and went and they still had no line. Thankfully the second line in the house (ours) still worked. Just as I called to *ahem* express my feelings... a truck arrives.. and all these people in the neighborhood run out and yell at the guy. Seems the Elderly Center nearby called in and got immediate attention the rest of us were only reaping in the rewards from their call!

Pfft


I understand they have man power issues.. but stop the BS and just be honest.. 'Sorry lady, we aint got no one until next week' that would have been nice!!!

Bah

Well, I was given a whopping $28 credit for my 'inconvenience' (I told them I had a conference call at 10:30 and if the phone wasn't on by then I'd want a YEAR's worth of credit because that's how much $$ I'd lose!! OK, so I lied!) and the phone 'should' be on by 12, but the only promise she'll make is that it'd be on some time today

I work for Verizon and feel for you

Hey...it's 2:14, and guess what just started to work!!! MY PHONE! If I never have to make another call to Verizon it'll be too soon!

During my Physical Therapy I used to sit next to this guy during my electro treatment.. he had really messed himself up badly while working with Verizon... He told me there's just too much to do and frankly that he doesnt care who he ****es off cause no one cares that he's ****ed off. Go figure.. I blame the big cheeses!
