Does anyone work in a financial institution...

where they keep the television on (CNBC) all day? Sound good? It's not. The same commercials have been on for about a month...I want to break the tv next time I see (or hear) the stupid Chase commerical where they are playing that stupid Ben Folds Five(?) song...Or the stupid 'bing, bing, bing' of the BP commercials...

Please let me know I'm not alone.

haha..my dh works in a fin. institution and I'm sure he can relate...I know he has a tv and I know he has it on CNBC..

There is never a chance of this. There are about 42 traders on my floor...And they are ALWAYS around...I swear...These people are still here when I am leaving at night and they're already here when I arrive in the morning.

The only time the channel gets changed is if there is some big news happening---and then it only gets put on CNN.

no bad mouthing Chase

I worked on a trading floor (a huge one) and we had about 15 tvs tuned into all different channels...CNN, CNBC...All on just enough to create a constant buzz, but not really hear what they are saying...

ETA: But I do love those Chase commercials with the couple getting older... But it's a Five for Fighting song..

im just kidding..bad mouth them all you want...i plan not to be with the company in the near future.

i actually like the new commericals. makes you think wonder about life as a whole instead of just getting a credit card with low rates,etcc...

i like the wedding commerical the most.
we are in big compeition with many banks thus we must beat the words Chase into your head constantly ...

Really???

Annoys me so much it makes me think of cancelling my Disney card if not for the reward dollars!

Although I have to say the MTM theme song one is what pushes me over the edge the most.


ETA: 12.9% is a low rate?????

I never understood that commercial. Okay, so they make lots of different credit cards. But really how different do you need your card to be? I have had the same card since I was a senior in college.


I can imagine the songs form any commerial driving you nuts at work, though.

I'm very excited to say I don't know what any of these commercials are!
