just NOT dance? lol i've slow danced with him but never ever got him to dance at a remotely fast song. and i'm a touch worried about the wedding

YEP... mine. I will be able to go slow dance for our song but that's about it. He hates dancing. That's great... I LUV DANCING!!!

He HATES dancing- usually will only slow dance, but he was dancing the entire time at the wedding!!

in 4 years that I've been dating FH, we have NEVER danced together and we've gone to like 7 weddings together. not even slow danced. it upsets me. i dont even know whats gonna happen at our wedding! i dont dance really either, cause im embarrassed cause i dont know how! but i still have slow danced with our friends in front of him at our wedding. he just doesnt care :-/

AHHH i'm SO glad that you guys have the same problem! My FH barely danced with me at our senior prom...I don't know that I'll have much luck with him now ::sigh::. It's really OK though; I don't like to dance either. But everyone's going to expect us to dance at least once! I have 2 years to go but i'm getting nervous about it now. I think I'll get a slow dance out of him, but then I'll probably have to wait until our 25th anniversary!

He doesn't dance very well but he tries for me, i definately plan on having him take some lessons with me, i love to dance and he knows its important to me, he says he's looking forward to it cause he doesn't want to be embarrassed

omg, that is so funny, mine does not dance at all...he does the 'chandler dance' from friends...oh such a no no!!! I love to dance, and can dance pretty well, so I am thinking of getting that video that teaches you how to dance...so he is somewhat less nervous....
He can shuffle his feet side to side...but I have to lead...lol...
I told him he has to fast dance at the wedding, only bc it is acceptable if you are the groom and can't fast dance, but I told him, he has to go all out then...and just look like a total fool, bc anything less than looking like he's having fun, will just look like he is miserable...so he might as well dance like a fool and have fun.
OMG, this sounds just like my FH. He does the chandler dance too, he just doesn't know it. He thinks he can dance and I have never had the heart to tell him that he really can not. He can't to slow songs either. I really have to fight the urge to lead
