So I finally found a fitting cake topper. Mr. & Mrs. Pacman figures. After I purchased them on eBay, I realized our cake is pink and brown. Does it matter that this cake topper won't go - color scheme wise? EEK!
I DID NOT WANT THE BIG BOW AT THE TOP AS SEEN ON THIS IMAGE OF CAKE I LIKE...
First of all I think your cake topper is ADORABLE!!!
I don't think it maters because the cutness of the cake topper just adds to your cake.
Also...Mrs. Pacman's flowers are pink..so it kinda ties it in

they don't have to match at all!!!!! We had 3 separate cakes with different toppers on each layer - it looked AWESOME and everyone loved it!

Re: Does cake topper have to match cake?
OK, well first of all, this cake I love was found randomly online. I'm guessing that our bakery (our RH uses Blackforest) can do this without it costing like a gazillion bucks. I'm not going to do those diamondy things - I just reall like the shape and colors, etc.
I want red velvet which I already know is like $2 extra per person I think. Why bother giving people a 'free' cake, does anyone just stick w/the basics?
Cake topper: FH and I loved playing pac man when we were kids, it was something we used to bond on when we first met. We'd also play down the shore on the boardwalk in NJ so it's kinda 'us.' We have pacman pillows, pillow cases, glasses, bedding, trash can, etc.
