Does FH's ring have to match mine?

I like a platinum one with a design and he wants the plain platinum... Not sure if they have to match though.

Definitely not, imo. Our bands compliment each other, in that they're both platinum & have princess cut stones. But they're not a set.

no, they dont have to match. I just happen to get a matching one as a second one
We were going shopping for his ring, and they had the matching one for me, so she gave us a great deal if we bought both. Hubby was like...How did yoy get stuck with 2 rings

the way i'm doing it is that our formal bands will match.... he won't wear his formal band all the time though - he's going to wear a plain band w/no diamonds on it at all...

ours do not match, mine was made to match my ering, and his a very plain

Ours aren't going to match either. I'm getting a diamond platinum band and he wants a plain platinum band.

LOL. Ours don't even come close. Mine is a 7 stone bar setting in platinum and his is a 2-toned platinum and 18K gold.

I'm pushing really hard for a second wedding band (for me - a plain one) but despite my best efforts, he isn't caving. He says he sees no need.

You might want to do a second band - we did plain gold band for him and me and then I'll get the Bridal Set as well. We wanted to match somehow in one way or another!!

ours aren't going to match. Mine is gold, channel set, and he wants platinum (gold doesn't look good on him). I don't think it really matters, as long as you get what you want!

ours don't. Mine is platinum with diamonds. His is stainless steel. Yes, stainless steel. He's a wacko (and an mech engineer / product designer) - He wasn't big into the idea of wearing a ring (he wears no jewelry) but got excited about making his own, so I told him to go for it. He picked stainless cause he liked the weight of it on his finger. Looks like platinum or titanium on his finger and he wears it ALL the time.

He made me a matching stainless one, for camping trips etc - whenever I wouldn't want to wear my platinum band, which so far has been NEVER

All of our bands (my 2 and his 1) have the same engraving.

Ours dont match either.
Mine is platinum w/baguettes, a nice feminine band, and his is also platinum, but a wide knife cut band, no diamonds.

No Denise - I even offered to get titanium for like, $25! I don't care what its made of, I just want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
