Does FH's ring have to match mine?

I like a platinum one with a design and he wants the plain platinum... Not sure if they have to match though.

Nope. I wanted diamond with white gold/platinum and FH wanted simple gold band.

i kinda tend to say yes, thats my opinion but mike doen't like gold and i do so we'll see what happens when we get ours...

Definately does not have to match. I'm getting a platnium diamond band, and FH is getting a plain white gold band with a strip of matte satin going through it.
