I'm looking for a tie for FH to wear (he's wearing a suit) and I don't know what color(s) to I should be looking for. I'm having fall-like flowers (sunflowers, dk. red roses, oranges, purples) and my MOH is wearing burgundy. What should his tie look like or does it matter????

Re: Does FH's tie need to match color scheme?
I don't think your FH needs to match the color scheme at all. He can either match you (wearing an ivory or white tie) . You also seea lot of grooms wear silver, grey or black ties. My FH is wearing a silver vest and tie.
Then again, if he WANTS to wear something more colorful, by all means he should go for it!

He doesn't have to match, but don't have him clash - ie. your girls wear orange/red, he wears purple. Just because you'll have pictures of your whole bridal party and the two of you and you'll want him to have a bout that matches the flowers. Any of the colors that match, or black white ivory silver would work!

I have the same color scheme going. I think I am going to mention to him to wear silver. I'm letting him pick out his tux and colors.
