Does it matter Im not slim?

I'm getting married in a four weeks and have struggled to lose some weight but am still a dress size 20

MY fiance loves me as I am - but I feel awful about people taking pics at the wedding :(

Am I too fat to be a bride ?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too fat to be a bride!!!! don't be silly!!! You said yourself that your FH loves you the way you are, that is the second most important thing!!! What is most important is that YOU love yourself how you are. Now that doesn't mean that you dont want to lose some weight, everybody has parts of themselves that they want to work on, but if your FH loves you the way you are you should too. When you walk down the aisle he is going to see his beautiful bride no matter if youaare size 20 or 2!!!! Everybody else at the wedding is there because they love you. If your weight mattered to them would they be your friends???

Give yourself a break. All any bride wants to do is look THEIR best on their wedding day, that is different for everybody.

You are NOT too fat to be a bride! You will be glowing with joy on your wedding day and that is ALL that matters. We are all way too obsessed with looks, and body image and weight - even Marilyn Monroe would be considered on the heavy side by today's standards. Everyone will notice how happy you are and how your FH loves you and you love him. Have fun, relax and please do not think slimness matters on your wedding day. What matters is your joy and smile!

YOU SILLY WOMEN!!! of course your not too fat!! marriage isnt about pictures and dresses, its about 2 people sharing a life together. EVERYONE looks beautiful on their wedding day!!!

In order to be loved (and you are) and love back you must love yourself. As a future bride that is overweight, I will tell you that beautiful people come in all sizes shapes colors and personality types. I have met some really thin people that are very ugly. Just be yourself, the beautiful person your FH loves.

Please don't put yourself down about not losing the weight, you will look beautiful on your Wedding Day and don't ruin your day by feeling funny when people take your pictures, they want that picture of you!!!

Don't even tell yourself that.

You have found your love and your husband has found is love in you -- that is all that matters on your wedding day. You wil beautiful on your day regardless of your size and he will love you. So don't worry about the weight, and just give thanks for all the positive things in your life.

I am pleasantly plump as well, and Im still beautiful. You will make a beautiful bride and will look lovely in your pics.

Ladykitten, I was really upset after reading your post. Icannot believe you said those things.

You WILL be a beautiful bride. Beauty comes in ALL shapes and sizes. Just because someone is a size 2 does not make them any more beautiful than a size 20.

You will be beautiful on your wedding day no matter what size you wear. You will be starting a new life with the man you love and who loves you and that it was matters. Besides who says you have to be thin to be beautiful. Obviously your FHthinks you're beautiful just as you are.

I'm about the same size as you. And believe me I would love to be the thinner. But if I can't well that's fine to. I don't think it will take away from the look that day! You will be lovely!!!

Oh how I can relate, I ordered I size 20 for my dress. I've come to the realization that my personality and traits is what makes me beautiful, I'd rather be loved for something that is inside than because I have a great bod. I know you will be beautiful on your wedding day. Just throw out the idea that you must be a skinny bride, look deeper then that. Good Luck and Congrads

Everyone tries to lose weight for their wedding. But the bottom line is, if you don't lose, don't even worry about it. Your FH is marrying you, size 20 and all. He doesnt care whether you're a 20, or a 10 or a 2. He loves you for your beauty, not just outer, but inner beauty. He thinks you are beautiful just the way you are

Don't worry about what people think. YOu are in love, and will be married, that's why you deserve to be a Bride
