Last evening I was ironing and the iron fell over and burnt my arm. It looks really nasty and I don't want a scar so I was wondering if anyone has used mederma to reduce the appearance? Did it work? Is it worth the money? Please help!!!

Re: Does mederma work?
i tripped over a curb back in january and smashed my face into a wall! A friend recommended mederma, but another friend of mine went to a doctor and he said its only popular because a lot of doctors prescribe it. The BEST thing for you right now , since it just happened. Go to the drug store and get Vitamin E capsules. Break them up and rub it into the skin. It really works!

I agree. My daughter got a huge crack in her forehead a few years ago, they glued it and the dr. told me to get the vitamin E. You can barely see a scar now.
