No I don['t think he does unless they are very close.

I have three siblings - two of which are married. FH has two sisters- neither of which are married. In order to keep numbers down and the wedding day drama free, we opted not to include any of them or their spouses. My side is COMPLETELY fine with it. His sisters? not so much. They are big girls. They will get over it.

Both my brother and sister are married. And neither of my in-laws are in the bridal party. Firsts off I have issues with my brother in law however I could have looked past that but really it was to keep our numbers down. The bigger the bridal party the bigger the expense. So although my brother might not be too happy about his wife not being a bridesmaid. He'll just need to get over it. Good luck!
