Does my whole 'gold and ivory' scheme work???

Here is my dress next to my mom's
im wondering if i should incorporate some more blue or just leave it as is

opinions???

not trying to 'match' its just that when you buy everything separately; you never really envision how it will all look together or next to each other so im just wondering.................

ok gotcha.. then - i think they both look great together!! thats a good color for a MOB dress!
