BP will be sitting with their dates.... I just HATE having to go to a wedding and have to sit apart from my fi because he's in the bp... it's so annoying and since that's how I feel - I wouldn't want other people to feel the same way.

I am having a sweetheart table w/ the bp sitting at a table by us w/ their significant others. I was at ta wedding last June where Rob was in it (I wasn't) and they had a dais and he sat there w/out dates. It ****ed because everyone in the bp had a date and were ****ed they couldn't sit or eat dinner w/ them.

i had a sweetheart table as well....but the first 2 tables on either side of us were our bridal party, mixed in with their dates/significant others/people they knew....you can do that if you want...JMO but i agree that the dais is awkward and kind of dated...

Dais table reminds me of the 80s.. like weddings in the Wedding Singer when they are sitting in those huge chairs... I would only have one if the groom & groomsmen were wearing baby blue ruffled tuxes...

my FI is in a wedding party. Its actually one of his groomsmen who is getting married a month after us. So as a newlywed I would really like to sit with him. I hope his friend lets Brian sit with me.

My bridal party sat immediately to the left and right of us at a table for 10 at each. Some brought dates as well, so it worked better that way.

The people in our bridal party were all sitting at different tables with their friends and husbands and wives. We recently went to a friend's wedding and my husband was in the bridal party and sitting with the bride and groom & I was sitting across the room with couples and we didn't like it.We didn't say anything but we would rather have been sitting together.JMO

i think for the reception the BP should sit with there dates or with there friends and family. The BP is with you through out your entire planning, your whole day i think its nice to have them sit with friends they know or there family

When I went to my brother in laws wedding, my FH was the best man and the BP sat at the dias, I was stuck sitting with my FH's parents and aunts. I hated it, because, I was sitting with 50 and 60 year olds. What I am doing at my wedding is I am having 2 BP tables, one will be predominatly the girls and their dates, and some other friends that I wanted in my BP, but i didn't have room. The other table will be predominatly the guys, but since my brother and and his wife are both in party, I didn't want to sepreate them, and my FH's sister, who is also a BM, won't want to sit with my friends, since she doesn't know any of them, she will sit on the groom's side, with her other brother who is the BM. I figure this will make everyone more comfortable.

one of the groomsmen brian is inviting this guys mom and sisters because brian is really close to them. they are like family to him. they will take up one whole table, so brian asked his groomsmen if he wanted to sit with his family or with the BP at the BP table.
I thought that was very nice of FI to do

Also.. I was thinking the girls should be dressed in teal or peach... or maybe your MOH can be in peach and the BMs in teal.. then you can have carnations dyed to match the teal... how fancy would that be?
